Aldara 5% Cream – Usage Specification

• Active Ingredient: Imiquimod 5%
• Usage: Topical treatment for conditions such as external genital/perianal warts, actinic keratosis, and certain superficial basal cell carcinomas, depending on the doctor’s diagnosis.
• Application: Wash and thoroughly dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as directed by your doctor.
• Typical application: For genital warts, commonly 3 times weekly, leaving the cream on for 6–10 hours before washing it off.
• Important: Do not use orally, in the eyes, or inside the vagina/rectum. Avoid excessive application, as significant local skin reactions can occur.
